You know damn well you understand the Democratic position regarding mandatory vaccination:
They believed (1) the vaccines worked (2) many lives would be saved if everyone were vaccinated and (3) that the downside to mandatory vaccination (freedom concerns, low probability health reactions caused by vaccines) were worth it in the aggregate. It's not rocket surgery.
