She has no real competition. Newsom is the rich coastal elite guy. Won’t play well with the base. Harris is toast. Pete is terrible. If she wants it she’ll be tough to beat.
LOL - I just saw James Carville speak here and he said he thinks the Democrats have arguably the deepest bench he can remember them having in a long time.
He also said he thought if Obama and Bill Clinton would have hosted a truncated primary of six or so candidates after Biden stepped down the Democrats would have won the last race against Trump. He thought those two serving as leaders of the Democratic Party with six viable candidates drumming up suspense and drama would have take up all the air in the presidential race and the primary 50-60ish year old winner would have beat Trump.
Answering a follow up question he said Kamala could have been one of the primary participants but he was coy about whether he thought she’d be the winner

Maybe in the 90’s he was considered a skilled political operator. I don’t know. I wasn’t born when Clinton ran his first campaign. Supposedly his brilliant insight was that Americans care about the economy.

@bulk-vh he's just stupid. what drives me crazy is pretending that progressive policies didn't happen, were a fiction, and that these far lefties don't exist and don't have influence. i hate their policies. but if you don't and you like them just say so. i watch all these crazy elon musk and zuckerburg bezos videos and who knows but they are adamant that AI will revolutionize society. money will change. our time. how we work and if we do. and while those progressive policies i hate today at this moment in time will imo be the policies that we will be required to follow. if AI comes to fruition as they contemplate socialism/progressivism etc are the only policies that will make sense for us to follow. otherwise all of us who aren't tech nerd entreprenuers will be cooked. 99.99999 percent of us will be praying for aoc to be in charge
