This case is really bothering me. Who in the world would do this? I’m sure the police have more information than they are letting on, but it’s really difficult to even think of a motive. Thoughts?

what the hell… just read the story on his stepson- bananas. Dog just can’t catch a break. He’s outdone @joe_hoopsier at his own game - on wife numero seis and has kids all over the place (in and out of wedlock).

Motive? Could be a number of things, but likely money in some fashion and I think in this instance, you almost have to look at family first (insurance policy, inheritance etc). Maybe a crime of passion/overreaction to some family drama/secret. Hell, it could be a handyman, landscaper, groundskeeper or some sort of hired help. Then burglary gone wrong, then targeted abduction for ransom. If none of those things, then we are off into the giggleweeds of some whacko with an agenda.
