@old-crescent It comes straight from Russian disinformation. I linked a paper from an Army War College scholar about it and the sources are good to read too. They describe exactly what Mas is saying and exactly where it came from. He fell for the disinformation from RT and other sites where it originates.

I consider myself mostly MAGA, but disagree with vociferously on Ukraine.

When it comes to Ukraine, MAGA has BRS.  I can understand why Trump wanted to draw a line between him and Biden during the campaign.  There were fair criticism of Biden's Ukraine support - mostly that it was limited and timid and just enough to keep the slaughter going, but not to win.

But it's pretty clear right now that Zelensky and Ukraine are not the problem.  Naked aggression by Russian cannot be tolerated without severe consequences down the road.

Mas doesn't seem to be against Ukraine because of MAGA, however.  He truly seems to believe Russia is some kind of innocent victim in the whole thing.  Like it has always been a pure, Christian country.  Just laughable.  The same country that actively participated in killing his buddies in VN, he's now praising.  It boggles the mind.

It's wasn't naked aggression.  Threatening to put Ukraine in NATO was what started it.

Yeah. Talking about doing it years into the future is what prompted Russia to violate its own signed agreement to protect Ukraine's sovereignty and illegally invade Ukraine. Simple thoughts for simple minds.

PS: It was naked aggression.

Well sir: as their blood was never on your hands, don't presume to define my relationship with their memories.

Show a post where I called Russia ' an innocent victim '...you won't

Show a post where I called anything pure...you won't

Oh...and the 2022 Merriam-Webster word of the year is : GASLIGHTING

..another class that your little buddy flunked..

Top Russian commanders eliminated in Ukrainian precision strike on key command post

Even if the Russians eventually win this war, Ukraine has exposed their incompetence far beyond even what Afghanistan did.

@dbmhoosier NATO was already on Russian borders. Russia has previously recognized Ukrainian sovereignty - they can do whatever the Fvck they want.  Russia doesn’t get to decide.

It was naked aggression, pure and simple.

No kidding. Putin’s military is a drunken, corrupt sham.

It's likely going to over with after Friday.  If Zelensky and the Euros won't go along with some land succession Trump is pulling us completely out.

The hope is that Zelensky’s “no land swap” position is his public face. As the leader of Ukraine I don’t mind him holding that position publicly for his people, he almost can’t hold a different one.

Privately, if he’s not willing to concede any territory, then yes, we should be out completely.

Trump can look like the bad guy in the eyes of hard line Ukrainians, doesn’t bother me.

Gives Z an out, “Trump made me do it”.

The land swap happened in 2014 when we stood idly by and let Putin take Crimea.
