@aloha-hoosier saying Trump embraces Putin is dumb.  My suggestion is don't be dumb.   He doesn't want global energy markets to get out of hand anymore than they are.  It's not hard to stay up.

@snarlcakes you should heed your suggestion.

You apparently don't even understand the word "embracing" was used in the excerpt from one of the articles I linked. You should read first, post later.

@snarlcakes you should heed your suggestion.

You're the one claiming Trump embraces Putin even though were providing his enemies with aid, weapons, and intelligence.  You can walk back the claim and say something more reasonable. I assume there are plenty of fair critiques, but claiming Trump embraces Putin is silliness.

He treats Putin like a friend and Zelenskyy like an enemy. He recently withheld intelligence on an impending missile attack from Ukraine. He told Zelenskyy not to attack Russia's primary source of revenue - their oil and gas industry. Trump wants to allow Putin to fund his war by selling diesel - a violation of the recently passed Lindsey Graham bill/law. People on both sides in Congress are bewildered by the President's favoritism towards Putin. Don't be dumb. The President's diplomacy, or whatever you want to call what he does, wrt Russia's war on Ukraine is incoherent.

More on the incoherent diplomatic strategy of the President concerning the Russian war on Ukraine.

Trump plays Russian roulette on eve of midterms

Blindsided again by Trump, Europe puts on a brave face and rallies behind Ukraine | Euronews

This isn't good for the GOP politically either:

With control of Congress hanging in the balance, Trump is embracing a dictator viewed unfavorably by 81% of his own 2024 voters, according to a January YouGov poll.

If Trump is embracing Putin, why are we providing Ukraine aid, weapons, and military assistance?  To be clear we're not providing Putin any of those things. I am not sure how anyone could come to your conclusion besides conspiracy theorists.

Don't play stupid. If you read the articles, you'd know exactly how he's embracing Putin and attacking Zelenskyy. In fact, you'd know this if you just paid attention a little.

This is you Aloha 🤷‍♂️

IF YOU READ THE ARTICLES. I happen to agree with much of the Axios article, but you didn't even bother to address any of it. You're really dumb sometimes. You really shouldn't be in this thread.

I am not sure exactly what happened with Starlink and neither are you.  What did the Trump admin or military leaders say?  What did Elon say?    Perhaps we should wait on more information?  I always thought you were an advocate for that.   Also, there shouldn't be much bewilderment in Congress.  Energy prices are pretty high and Trump is desperate to bring them down.  It's a fair critique to say Trump shouldn't do it.

@snarlcakes

I wasn't referring to Starlink, I was referring to intelligence that wasn't provided previous to an overnight missile attack, but Starlink is curious.

Ukraine says new Starlink restrictions disrupt military amid intel gaps , Trump clash

Ukraine's Starlink restrictions raise suspicions of Musk, Trump retaliation

Yes, I believe in waiting for follow on reports after initial reports to see what really happened.

@goat

WTF type of games is this prick trying to pull off? I’m tired boss, really tired!

Time to stop pretending or hoping this is any kind of n-dimensional chess, and accepting the fact that he's just an asshole who wants to sign us up for the Axis Powers.

He's really pissing me off on this one! STFU sTrump!

Hilarious!

You've sold out to the Deep State scum for 3+ years now while the Ukros have watched their infrastructure destroyed and population decreased by 2/3....

Second thoughts?

Your Russian comrades invaded Ukraine and killed 10s of thousand and destroyed a ton of infrastructure and you blame the US "deep state," which is nonsense, and "the Ukros," which is still a term only used by Russians for Ukrainians. You're a disgrace to America. Why are you posting here? We can read Russian propaganda on Russian sites.

2/3rds? You're always very misinformed.

The correct answer is that Ukrainian lives would be much better if a crazed dictator with dreams of being a modern Peter the Great dictator didn't attack Ukraine.

Bibi had his way with Trump. Now it's Putin's turn.
