@dbmhoosier Prisoner exchanges are seldom 1 to 1. In Korea we had Operation Little Switch toward the end of the war. Here is info:
During the course of the operation, North Korea repatriated over 684 United Nations troops from Australia, Britain, Canada, Columbia, Greece, Germany, Philippines, South Africa, South Korea, Turkey and the United States. The United Nations returned 1,030 prisoners from China and 5,194 from North Korea.
Simply put, we wanted our people back faster than they did, so we paid a premium. If more Ukrainians are being returned, Ukraine isn't as eager to make the switch. If Russia isn't losing a ridiculous number, why are North Koreans there? And apparently not fighting particularly well.
Al Jazeera is hardly US deep state, below is a nice article. It suggests Russia has changed its tactics because using massed tank formations and human wave assaults was just causing too many casualties. So they can be taught, but that suggests the obvious, they suffered greatly. Oh, Russia's prison population has dropped 120,000. Guess who they were using in those wave assaults. They've suffered the huge casualties even if it is now better.
So the Libtwats are now using not only The Guardian, but Al Jazeera for their talking points.
Shocking....!
So you moved to Mother Russia. When did that happen? Enlist in the Russian Army yet? They need more meat for the grinder. Have you had a chance to physically kiss Putin’s ass?
Pretty much a reviled cross dressing little toad around this part of the world.

Sad to admit, but when Gore brought Al Jazeera news to the US, it was (cough cough) the best equal news we had. and that is damn tuff for me to admit. DAMN TOUGH !
If men were any more stupid, we would have breed for the extinction of women. Proof yet again that WE are the best thing they have going for them.

Al Jazeera America did a very good job. Where they screwed up was being in denial about how much of a handicap their name would be.
Putin not happy:
Russia furious as Trump sanctions energy giants Rosneft and Lukoil
He should be made miserable until he agrees to negotiate a ceasefire and peace deal.
I wonder: does anyone still think Trump is a Putin mole? Has anyone ever admitted they were wrong about that?Putin not happy:

I'm wondering in the abstract. I don't have access to the old board and wasn't here during the whole Russia investigation.Who did? Surely, you're not denying people made that claim? I used to ride the train with a lawyer who lived in Russia for a while. Found his wife there. He made the claim all the time--swore up and down that he knew exactly how the KGB operated because he had lived in Russia, and that Trump was a Russian asset.
I know people suspected that Putin had something on him, but there was never any proof of that.I'm wondering in the abstract. Around the old Cooler, a handful of people (I don't remember who) speculated that Putin was blackmailing Trump. I don't remember anyone claiming he was actually a Russian asset. I can think of a few from whom such a claim might be likely, but I don't remember it actually being stated.
