MAGA doesn't like it because they only heard what they wanted to hear - that Trump didn't want to get us into foreign wars. They conveniently forgot Trump was the one who armed and trained Ukraine from 2017 to 2021 enough for them to hold off Russia.
I don't like it, but Trump is willing to trade Ukrainian land for peace, and I think he got Zelensky to buy off on that. Only problem is, Putin wants the whole enchilada.

What? The pause happened, or are you claiming that didn't happen? That would be strange since it was acknowledged that it happened. The DoD is responsible for executing military aid. It could not have been paused by anyone other than DoD, and couldn't have been restarted by anyone other than DoD. The President said he was unaware of the pause. The SecDef is responsible for informing the President of important acts such as this, but the President was unaware. The SecDef is responsible for all aspects of this. This is not disputable. Edit: Reading your posts again, I guess you're saying that DoD paused it with Trump's approval. Which means that the President is lying when he said he was unaware of the pause. It's all part of his master plan. Right? My mistake was believing the President was being truthful . . .
