What you also haven’t done is apologize for falsely accusing a former Capitol Police officer, by name, of being the J6 pipe bomber. I was too nice before when I called you despicable - you’re a dishonorable piece of shit. That’s probably too nice too. Asshole.Apologize to me. It's her. It has always been her. The CIA, FBI, and Capitol Police staged it.

And the Blaze story was almost 5 months ago accusing Kirkoff of essentially attempted murder. Yet still no defamation suit against the Blaze. Sitting on a multi million dollar lottery ticket but too afraid to cash it in. Really wonder why.
I didn't have "Forensic Podiatrist" on my bingo card.
Hope is not optimism, which expects things to turn out well, but something rooted in the conviction that there is good worth working for. - Seamus Heaney, Irish poet and likely Hoosier basketball fan.

Eastman got a bum rap. I can’t help but think authorities legally decapitated him because they didn’t like what he argued, not because he did anything wrong. As I’ve said a gazillion times, results of any election are subject to challenge. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that and review is an important part of the process. Eastman argued a point of view in favor of his client. Arguments that have little to no chance of success must not be the basis of lawyer discipline. There are other means to sanction lawyers for frivolous arguments. Eastman did not lie, he didn’t offer a bribe, he didn’t intimidate judges. He simply created a theory to help his client and argued it in court. Arguments presented in court are entirely within the system.
I hope this travesty gets corrected.
He did much, much more than that - and he did lie by participating in and perpetuating a lie. You haven't read the Smith Report or listened to his closed-door hearing, so you're not informed on what he's alleged to have done, admitted having done, and the evidence shows he had done. Luckily those who disbarred him are more informed. It's a shame, Eastman used to be a good logical conservative PT (Pre-Trump).
C'mon, Aloha. Get with the program.
Eastman was an honorable earnest lawyer just doing his job, zealously advocating for his client.
Jack Smith was a dishonorable partisan hack.
One of the alleged lies was Eastmans argument that Pence that had legal authority to halt the certification of Joe Biden’s victory. That was a frivolous argument that almost all lawyers would disagree with. Isn’t a lawyer allowed to make a weak argument without being accused of lying? He did not suborn perjury in presenting tge argument. There are a number of ways to deal with frivolous or groundless arguments.
I assume when the bar says he lied that they have more evidence than just a frivolous argument. But I don't know. One of the alleged lies was Eastmans argument that Pence that had legal authority to halt the certification of Joe Biden’s victory. Re the arguments made, it's an interesting question: anyone can make any argument for any action. At some point, the absurdity of the argument crosses a line past frivolous into an area that, on a question of this importance, makes it worse. I can't nail it down more than that with legal terms right now without researching it.
He was an active participant in a conspiracy to overturn an election by illegal means. He was a co-conspirator in the effort. It’s all in the Smith Report and Smith’s testimony expounded on that.I assume when the bar says he lied that they have more evidence than just a frivolous argument. Smith never indicted anybody for “attempting to overturn an election by illegal means”. Instead he used weird interpretations of obscure statutes. There is no commonality between the disbarment record and actual indictments. Smith report isn’t relevant to anything. What he filed in court is.
Again, you haven’t read the report or seen/read his testimony. He said decision hadn’t been made in indicting co-conspirators when the case was dropped because Trump won the election. I shouldn’t have to tell you these things. He was an active participant in a conspiracy to overturn an election by illegal means.
