Leave it to Trump to make a post about Jackson that is 99% about Trump

On the other hand President Obama, who I never voted for and whose policies I mostly opposed, knows how to make a classy statement at times like these.

Im pleasantly surprised that Trump gave credit to, and shared credit with, JJ for many of Trump’s actions for the benefit of minorities. That is not typical Trump. That one message puts JJ in a more favorable light for me.

I am devoted to Trump.

Trump spoke kindly about Jackson.

Therefore, I now think more of Jackson than I did.

'Reverend' Jackson and his race-baiting grift will last for years..

Although I think Sharpton had the better grift, Jackson's brand has legs...

I hate Trump.

I am unwilling to consider new info or perspectives if Trump is involved.

I will not change my mind under any circumstance.

One of the best political guests on SNL in its run IMO.

The green eggs and ham reading when Suess passed was great, and 40 something years later we still bust out "The question/point is moot" in the group text with all my boys from HS.

Jackson was a yuge grifter and scammer IMO. Never thought highly of him or his followers.

Jackson recognized the economic power the black community had but didn't know how to wield, a lesson learned from the Birmingham bus boycott. He used that power to gain inroads for blacks in corporate America, rather than looking to the government to address their concerns.

It appears the Jackson family didn't appreciate some of the eulogies being political.
