I wake up nearly every weekday morning around 5 to 6 am. Habit I've had since my working days. Since the towers came down, is it weird that the first I do is check my news feed to make sure WW3 hasn't started? TBH now that I think about it the only respite during my lifetime was a few years between the end of the Cold War and 9/11, and even then we had the first WTC bombing, the USS Cole and involvement in several UN actions as well as domestic shit like Ruby Ridge, Waco and Oklahoma City.
