She's a serial liar.
Thank God for cell phone videos.
That’s funny because I think Noem’s language in the aftermath of Goode’s shooting and this most recent one has been irresponsible at best and, more likely, purposely inflammatory. Completely unbecoming of the office she holds.
But you didn’t start this thread to discuss that. Hell, you didn’t even post a video or a citation.
This is an emotional vomit with purpose to incite and the reason this board is a wasteland.

A good friend will bail you out of jail, but your best friend will be sitting next to you in the cell saying "that was f***ing awesome"

The entire administration is incapable of telling the truth unless it favors them. The "presumption of regularity" -- a phrase I'd never heard of until this year -- can no longer be afforded to these people. Even the courts are wising up, and no longer assume they're being dealt with honestly.
Nope. Sorry. Her makeover is hideous.
Now give me US Representative Noem... fuck yeah.

So.....correct me if I'm wrong, but the gun that DHS says they took off Pretti was the same gun that an ICE agent was clearly holding in his hand before he was shot, right? That's what the video seems to show. It seems to show that ICE disarmed him (a lawful gun-owner, BTW), and then shot him, anyway.

That seems to be what most see. It was an execution.

This is my interpretation:
One officer wrestling the guy yells “GUN!, GUN!, GUN!”
Almost simultaneously another officer in the frey removes the gun from the guy’s holster, takes it and walks away (I kinda feel bad for this guy, seems like he was trying to deconflict).
Yet another agent hears the word “gun” and starts blasting the guy in the back.
I don’t know that the agent who removed the gun from the guy made it clear and loud that the suspect was no longer armed.
This is keystone cops shit. Just horrible policing.
And btw, you’re allowed to get into wrestling matches, even when you’re concealed carrying, without the expectation of getting shot by a fed. But it’s an enormously dumb idea.
When the victim stepped between the officer and the woman the officer knocked down, the victim's hands were up above his head with his phone in one hand. That is not a fighting technique I see often.
I do not know why the officer knocked down the woman, it seems likely to me the guy stepped between them hoping that the officer would calm. That had the opposite effect.
Going back to the previous shooting, these officers seem to not be well trained. Compare this guy with a holstered gun to Rittenhouse with a far more deadly gun in the open.

The agent who removed the gun discharged the weapon on accident and then the other agent shot him after hearing the shot. I won't post the video because it's graphic, but it's on X if you want to go looking for it.
. I'm betting that if Rittenhouse was scrapping with Feds while armed he’d have met a similar fateWhen the victim stepped between the officer and the woman the officer knocked down, the victim's hands were up above his head with his phone in one hand. That is not a fighting technique I see often.

I don’t know if you wrong, but you appear to be irrelevant
As you did with your Sam Harris post, you are basing your opinion upon information not known by the shooter. I don’t know if either shooting was a good shoot, but I do know the determination can only be based on information actually known by the officer who pulled the trigger.
@oneeyedundertaker scrapping? Again, he was in classic surrender position when it started. Even you know that isn't a classic "scrapping" position.
They were beating the hell out of him.

Irrelevant to what? Whether a guy shot in the back by federal officers was disarmed first is pretty darn relevant to the concerns I have been raising about how a free society should be policed.
