Mine has already run into two cars, two insurance claims.  I'll be panhandling here pretty soon to afford car insurance.

Just curious, was she by herself for the accidents?

My kids are 25+ now, but long ago I learned that the biggest risk factor for under-21s getting into accidents was not their years of driving experience, their grades, their popularity, or other such things, but whether they were driving with another under-21 in the car with them. That seems to bring with it huge distractions, show-offishness, or just simple carelessness.

We limited instances where our kids were driving a friend or riding with a friend. Need to get to an afterschool event?  Fine. But I don't want you to be a chauffeur.

Yep that’s a clear sign. And in both, she had a friend in the car with her.
