@snarlcakes Dems didn’t use to be this way. They’ve become horrible progressives. But Trump has involved us in wars and taxed the living shit out of us. I hate both of those things.
@snarlcakes and wait until we feel the full push inflation from tariffs. So we will punitively tax small businesses with the tariffs and raise inflation for everyone.

Pragmatic and Polite Right
A politically mixed (though Republican-tilting) group, they lean conservative on economics and the role of government, while tilting more liberal on issues related to race and foreign policy. They prize civility and cooperation in politics.
Also known as...........
Based on my answers, the idea that I'm tilting liberal related to race means there must be some very angry white men out there

@snarlcakes I’m in that group too. Didn’t used to be. But when you have people like @hurryinghoosiers just lie through their teeth day after day to support their garbage you can only want them deported to Antarctica. They represent the worst of our country and are a stage 4 cancer to its health. They are the enemy at this point

I agree and Carolla sums it up well. It's why I push back on you saying Trump is a D-. The grades are relative. If Biden is an F. Trump is C or B. The two parties aren't close.
Meh, I like Carolla, but the way Trump has gone about things is as much of a problem as his policies.
1. tariff taxes
2. wars
3. nothing to bring down costs
4. how he goes about things
he's a D- and not an F because he cleaned up the border and doesn't have the insane public safety policies/rhetoric. he's been terrible this term
Took the Pew test and was determined to be in the "Pragmatic and Polite Right" group.
Pew describes members of this group as follows...
Pragmatic and Polite Right hold a mix of conservative, moderate and somewhat liberal issue positions: They skew more conservative on economics and the role of government, while tilting more liberal on issues related to race and in their orientation to the rest of the world.
They are also moderate in their style, prizing civility and cooperation. While they are more Republican than Democratic on balance, they are fairly mixed in their partisanship and vote choices.

I'll say it again. Nobody gives a sh#t about tariffs. They only screw over a small percentage of the population and those people are in the top 10% of society. You even admitted your buisness is booming. Thinking Trump is close to Biden is insane.
I somehow got "Christo-fascist", which wasn't even one of the options......
@snarlcakes we're passing trump still. we flunked biden. biden and harris are the worst in american history. nothing comes remotely close to how bad they were. it's crazy to imagine what they would have kept doing but for manchin losing the house etc. and i would install trump as king before i'd vote for newsom/stay at home pete/aoc/pritzker/harris/mamdani etc.
- Increased Costs: Over two-thirds of SMBs report higher costs for goods and materials, with small business importers seeing their monthly tariff costs more than triple. [1, 2]
- Pricing Adjustments: To offset shrinking margins, roughly half of all businesses—and up to 45% of service firms—have passed at least some of these costs onto customers by fully raising their prices. [1, 2]
- Operational Delays: Supply chain issues have hit hard, leading to inventory delays, forced supplier changes, and in many cases, a decrease in international sales due to retaliatory tariffs. [1, 2]
- Employment Impacts: Rising supply costs have pushed many companies to limit growth, delay expansions, and reduce headcount to survive. [1, 2]

But that quiz sucks. I stand by my previous comment of Order and Opportunity Left as described.
