IDK Marv, I was pointing out how having to get a judicial warrant for every deportation would bring deportations to a stand still.

You went off on something about ICE entering homes. Maybe that guidance is unconstitutional, probably is. Would like it to go to SCOTUS.

I wasn’t talking about entering homes specifically and Democrats aren’t limiting it to that with their judicial warrant requirement

Now, privatize TSA security and prevent this from happening again. Most of the current officers would be hired by whatever company/companies won/win the contract(s). Some at more pay, some maybe at less, but they'd be first offered jobs.

The irony in calling them law abiding though😆

Did you ever do weed? More than weed? Drink before being 21? Be drunk in public? Decide some income didn't need reported to the IRS?

If yes to any, oh the irony in you finding irony in others being law abiding.

What’s the statute of limitations on illegal entry to the US?  I get you’re not big on definitions, but by definition anyone committing those acts you question is not law abiding at that time, & if they are a citizen they are subject to the appropriate penalty.  The penalty for non-law abiding non-citizens is deportation, no?

Smart money is on nightmare over dream.

MLK’s dream was another’s nightmare…

@hhlurker I think MLK might be quite befuddled by the imagery of White Americans berating Black and Hispanic ICE agents for being “fascists” and “racists”.

Incidentally, ICE employs Hispanics and blacks at a higher proportion than the general population would warrant.

We can’t even get our racist Gestapo right, perhaps they’re all Uncle Tom’s?

He called it a joke, but Johnson now backs Senate plan because the President wants him to support it. His question to the President was, "would you like me to spit shine your shoes with my tongue too?

Mike Johnson's reversal on DHS funding sparks conservative anger

You think of yourself as politically aware. How often do House speakers publicly defy Presidents of their same party?

Are you saying you want the government funding to continue to be cut off and you’re mad Johnson is acquiescing? Or do you just want to get off this afternoon by seeing a Republican stand in Trump’s way?

I agree Johnson should stand his ground actually. But I’m not sure you do….

Johnson has done a great job of holding together one of the most narrow and fractious majorities in house history. Republicans would be stupid to ditch him. That’s a thankless job.

I've told you I have zero interest in your ignorant opinions about anything. I don't have any desire to converse with you so don't ask me any questions.

@aloha-hoosier but what’s your actual option on passing the funding? Try to answer in under 5 derogatory Trump references.

Because you chastised Johnson for getting onboard, but you have complained about the shut down. So which one is it?

I just told you to STFU, you're not worthy of any conversation at all. Don't bother to reply.

I’m going to keep replying because I’m actually curious if you have the mental stability to simply disengage and walk away, or if I could do this with you forever, because you’re an emotional infant.

So I’m going to keep replying to find out.

I have an even better idea.  Get rid of TSA entirely and allow the airline companies decide what they want to do with security.
