Doxing law enforcement and harassing families is a problem. What is wrong with preventing that? Colorado ( and probably other states) has a statute that allows public records of residential information of law enforcement to be kept confidential. I think these kinds of things are a good idea. If masks is the only way to accomplish that, I’m okay with it. This has nothing to do with liberal/ conservative. It’s a good idea.
Frderal district judges have no authority to issue warrants in immigration cases. Immigration is under a separate system.
Law enforcement personnel don’t wear masks. Why in the world should we think it’s necessary for one particular law enforcement group? Criminals wear masks. Law enforcement rarely does. It’s simply not something that should be routine. It’s just nonsense to think it’s reasonable for them.Doxing law enforcement and harassing families is a problem. What is wrong with preventing that? Because of the enormous political BS leftists and democrats bring to the table. I heard Hakeem Jeffries yesterday grumbling about ICE agents deporting citizens and killing passengers at airline terminals. Stirring up that kind of hatred against a single group of federal employees justifies the masking. We shouldn’t expect the kids and spouses of agents to bear the burdens of crazies like Jeffries.

You really think it is more dangerous for an ICE agent than for a cop making a large drug bust? Drug gangs are not the type that would seek revenge?
That’s not true. You’re out of date on your info. You cling to dated info, because Trump. You’re just like Senate Democrats.
Republicans put out a bill yesterday that carved out all ICE funding. Trump would’ve signed it.
ICE has already been fully "pre-funded" for another three years. Carving out ICE and funding everything else would amount to a Democratic unconditional surrender. Why does Trump object so much to unmasking ICE agents and requiring judicial warrants?
I don’t like the masks but they are an earnest safety issue. Unlike local PD, State PD or other Feds there’s a large portion of the Democrat party that doesn’t think ICE/ CBP should even exist. That anyone who takes the role is a “goon” worthy of harassment or worse. It doesn’t even matter if they’re well behaved.
ICE has used administrative warrants forever. Requiring judicial warrants would bring deportations to a stand still, which is of course the point.
You’d be dealing with ideological judges, extended process all to deport someone that doesn’t even have 4th amendment protections.
Why don't they have 4th Amendment protection? As I understand it, and the article below suggests, ICE has used judicial to enter a home until last year.
As to safety, do police that make drug busts do so masked? Aren't drug gangs dangerous?
Not as dangerous as radical Dems. Why is it a problem that they wear masks?

When was the last time you heard someone calling police officers Nazis?
@arthur-dent drug gangs are law enforcement avoidant.
Unhinged leftists walk up to ICE agents on the street and put a camera in their face and post it online.

Then just shoot the bastages. Duh.
I’m not talking about danger. I’m talking about disruption of every day life as an ICE agent and his or her family walk a dog, go to school, go to a grocery store, eat at a restaurant, or try to have a peaceful moment sitting on their front porch.
Those tree hugging lefty sissies sure do scare the bejeebus out of our MAGA sissies. I never would have thought this would be the case 10 years ago. I’m adding irrational cowardice as a possible addition to the common MAGA traits list. Why in the world should we think it’s necessary for one particular law enforcement group?

@carramrod and, is it illegal? Go to YouTube and search for Audit the Audit. Regular police are being recorded and posted to YouTube all the time. There are several other channels on their also devoted to exposing police violations of civil rights. Often police are arresting people filming them, then exposing their community to lawsuits because it turns out to be 100% legal.
For some reason people like @oneeyedundertaker now love the idea of secret police. Gestapo, KGB, nothing but a history of roses with secret police.
By the way, read the story of Brownback v King. Two agents, working undercover and grab a guy off the streets and throw him in an unmarked car. They never identify themselves, they think he is a wanted fugitive, he isn't. So he tries to escape, they beat the crap out of him. He wakes up, they have again loaded him into the car, he bites one and tries to get away. Again they beat him. Citizens nearby are calling 911 reporting a man being mugged on the street. None present believes they are cops because they are not identified in any way. When the police arrive, they discover they are working on a federal task force.
The victim was not a wanted fugitive. He sues, it goes to the supreme court. He gets nothing. He is beaten severely and doesn't get a penny. Look it up. CO's love of qualified immunity. Oh yeah, when the FBI showed up they ordered everyone to delete their videos.
It is bad enough that police don't identify themselves in such a case, if they were masked? Why wouldn't you fight back ?
Police need held accountable too. Video does that. Look up John H Bryan, a civil rights lawyer. He posts video of police violating civil rights. Imagine all the 4th Amendment violations that would not be proven without video. Go watch his videos. For some reason there are police who believe they can enter your home without a warrant.
Below is an egregious one, a cop was moonlighting serving a summons. Enters a home after knocking. You can hear the dog bark as he enters. He later shoots the pet dog. He claims it never barked. Wake investigated and cleared him even though he had no right to be there and the dog is clearly heard, meaning he lied. Eventually, after the videos are leaked, they fire him. Makes you wonder what the investigation was beyond, "we take your word for it."
Accountability is critical when we give people guns and a hell of a lot of power and immunity. Wander through thecivilrightslawyer.com.
Or if we want to return to ICE, have we discussed the Chicago woman shot 5 times by ICE? ICE claimed she hit their car, they claim they were boxed in. Turns out video showed the ICE agent initiated contact, and video from a nearby store shows they were not boxed in. So they lied in their report and she was called a terrorist. Accountability?
Conservatives used to worry about government overreach. Now they openly cheer it on.
For some reason there are police who believe they can enter your home without a warrant.

Do you see MAGA in the room with you now? I don’t know what condition you have, but it has caused an unnatural obsession with MAGA. Get help. I think ICE agents keeping identities confidential in some cases is understandable and reasonable. You do not. We can’t have a simple disagreement without you going anti- MAGA crazy. .

@co-hoosier go to that civilrightslawyer.com and watch the videos with a lawyer who works in the field describing the law and naming the cases making up the law. There are times, but they are very specific. It isn't that the police believe the homeowner is a suspected criminal or has evidence. Or more so, because the homeowner said no in an impolite way.
