Typical politicking. Republicans don’t want to give up leverage by funding everything but ICE and CBP. Dems propose doing just that.
If we are really at an increased terrorist risk, and Democrats agree that’s impetus for getting this done. How does restoring full funding for FEMA and not ICE and CBP help us be safer?
I’d argue ICE and CBP are probably more important in that respect than any of the other five Dems have put forward. Maybe CISA and TSA? But I doubt it.

I was going to fly to Minneapolis next week to visit a client. I got a text from my guy yesterday saying we should just wait until this is all squared away. Still have to fly west the week after Easter, but hoping it's not still going on.

It’s causing air travel to suck even more. I hope this crap ends before I fly next in May (domestic) and June (international). Flying sucked enough already.
