This is so baffling to me. Obviously something best Treasury Secretary in decades is an opinion statement. Not something we’ll be able to “solve” per se.
But if I found Snarls statement so laughable I’d at least offer a criticism of Bessent, maybe offer a different secretary that I thought did a good job and why.

Trump listens to Bessent, not vice versa. Also, what exactly are you upset about with the economy after the 1st year? GDP growth is 3%+. Average American wages grew at 2%. Deficit spending decreased. Unemployment rate is low. Stock market is up. It's ok to just admit someone did a good job.

@oneeyedundertaker as far as I can tell, the criticism comes down to. He has mandated less vaccines and has slowed the propellers on the helicoptering of cash to universities for “research”.
