Given that Trump is publicly calling for the Attorney General to prosecute his political opponents and anyone who won't go along with his witch hunt is either pushed out or fired, aren't you at least a little skeptical of all this?

It won't matter. He's staked out a position. No amount of evidence to the contrary will have any effect.
What is “all this”? We already know about several examples of FBI misconduct and excessive exuberance in going after Trump and his supporters.
I already said the Comey indictment is a mistake. That is beyond being skeptical.
