Anyone watch? I just got home and am watching the Kommie channel do what they do. Sounds like it wasn't much of a show.

That said, the Kommie channel is bringing out their entire cast of hosts to flog the hearing all night long.

It was a ton of lying and political posturing by those in the GOP. Smith was great when he was allowed to speak. See the video of the closed door meeting for actual substance. The Representatives let lawyers ask the questions in that one for the most part.

Not a surprise from her. Trump's DoJ will not appeal. Don't know that Jack Smith can.

Shouldn’t be a surprise from anyone.  Her decision was a no-brainer. There never was a trial. Smith’s un-challenged theories, even if he properly served, should not be published without being tested at trial for admissible evidence, factual support, government honesty etc.

Normally  this kind of material is only made public after trial, government dismissal or refusal to charge, other final determination, or consent. Even with that, some material could be withheld for different reasons

You boneheads and easily outraged MAGAs that didn't watch any of his testimony are so easily duped. Jack Smith did not deny in Congress that his team obtained communications involving members of Congress. In fact, he confirmed that his office requested phone toll records and text messages during his investigations. This is fact. This is another nothingburger from your Twitter Twits and very disappointing, previously somewhat honest and honorable (at one point), Republican politicians.

@dbmhoosier Don't respond if you're not going to look at the transcripts themselves. The closed one is the best one because the MAGAs weren't grandstanding much in that one. The open one is useful if you can get past the MAGA grandstanding. Can Congressmen be prosecuted for lying during those hearings? They told some whoppers, so I'm guessing not. Jack Smith cited the law and the policy for obtaining toll records and texts.

I'll bet you $1,000, because I watched and read the testimony, the Smith will NEVER be successfully prosecuted for perjury. I'd bet they never even attempt to prosecute him, but it's obvious that this weaponized DoJ is unrestrained concerning attempting to prosecute frivolous and baseless cases. It's a national embarrassment.

After reading this the answer is in today's articles. All done in accordance with the law and then existing DoJ policy. Good luck.

Jack Smith obtained text messages from 44 members of Congress - Live Updates - POLITICO

Bet is still on the table but if it's too rich for you, counter with something you can afford.

@dbmhoosier You guys are really bad at this. He was telling the truth when he said that the materials he requested from Congress didn't include text messages. He ended up with those text messages by subpoenaing administration officials' government phones.

No kidding. It's in the transcripts and the articles and it's not so hard to put the facts and timelines together. They make no effort to do so. @dbmhoosier says he's a lawyer too! LOL!

The point isn't to be honest. The point is to get the gullible riled up and angry. Unfortunately, a large majority of the base are part of the gullible.

The deliberate dishonesty of Republicans who once weren't so dishonest is a real disappointment. There's something about these people thinking they MUST at all costs defend an extremely flawed and dishonest President. I just don't get it. I'd like to see the MAGAs split off. They won't win elections without the rest of us Republicans and traditional Republicans won't win without them (at least for a while), but I won't be some ashamed of such a significant portion of the party.
