The Geneva Conventions demand that we not target civilians. The threat to "destroy a civilization" is a war crime, by definition. There is no need to quote losers or winners. It's literally 2+2=4 in the world of international relations.
His commentary and claims are ridiculous and merit such debate.
That doesn't change the fact that you can make that point without trying to claim Tucker Carlson, Alex Jones, Candace Owens, MTG, etc. as proof. They simply do and say what they are paid to do and say. Are we just going to ignore all of the other claims made (broken clock idiom)?

just because you're too dumb to understand the point doesn't mean one wasn't made.
They bring up MAGA people saying it (or ex-MAGA) not because we all of a sudden think they are great, honorable people. But because it is harder to claim fake news or liberal bias with a straight face when it is coming from people MAGA used to champion when those people were making pro-Trump comments. The Easter rant and his post yesterday announcing the cease fire and negotiations don’t read like they are from the same person. They are and they were planned.
Iran is now neutralized and the Middle East we have known for 70 years will be forever changed.

Thank God the straight will be open, almost like it was before the war began, but with Iran regulating traffic and charging tools, which they never did before. Seems like they are coming out pretty good, considering. Played Trump like a fiddle.

Reporter Jonathan Karl asked President Trump this morning if he's okay with Iran charging tolls for ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz.
"We're thinking of doing it as a joint venture. It's a way of securing it — also securing it from lots of other people...It's a beautiful thing."
Let that sink in. This is a president who just started a war with Iran. Who bombed Iranian soil. Who told the American people this was about freedom of navigation and protecting our national security. And he just told a reporter — unprompted — that the plan is to go into business with Iran over the same waterway he used as the justification for war.
He didn't slip. He didn't misspeak. He called it beautiful. There are only two explanations and both are disqualifying. Either Trump started a war that has already killed thousands of people — not to protect America, but to position himself for a foreign business deal with the country he was bombing.
Or he is so detached from reality that he genuinely doesn't understand what he just admitted.
This was never about the Strait of Hormuz. It was never about Iran's nuclear program. It was never about American security. It was always about the deal. It is always about the deal. The blood of every soldier and civilian killed in this conflict deserves an answer to one simple question: Was this war started so Trump could collect a toll?

Obviously, Trumps enemies, whether in Iran or in Congress, or in the media took his threats to end Iranian civilization seriously. While Americans yapped about the 25th Amendment, Iran went tits up. The middle east is forever changed.
