I find it interesting listening to people discuss the merits within the same party but with different world views. And do so relatively honestly. The only useful bit from the pro-war guy Noah was that the stated US goal is to eliminate Iran’s ability to project its power beyond its borders. Some good discussion and arguments regarding the war:

Re the different facts, might not be new to you but useful summaries for many.

Imagine my surprise when I clicked on a @bradstevens link and found myself face-to-face with a 77-minute podcast.
If you stopped wasting your time in Bleak House, it wouldn’t bother you. Plus the war discussion is only 20-30 min. Some good discussion and arguments regarding the war:

Strange. I'm wondering about him being named Supreme Leader under those circumstances.

It would mean the real Supreme Leader is whoever is in charge of the Revolutionary Guards.
Edit: typo

Ironically, if you linked a transcript of it, I'd read the whole thing without complaint.

That is how I am, I love reading transcripts.
Should be interesting to see how we employ the USMC... The "no boots on the ground" crowd is going to freak when they see video of Ospreys inserting Marines on specific targets...
Frankly, I thought Noah dominated the discussion and was more biased than factual. If that were the only summary I had, I’d have a one-sided and superficial understanding of the current “facts.”I find it interesting listening to people discuss the merits within the same party but with different world views. For example, after the discussion included Iranian, Chinese, and Indian ships passing through the Strait, he belabored the lack of mines but ignored or overlooked that Iran neither needs nor wants mines there now—they want it passable for the ships of their choosing, thus mainly messing with economies of their enemies. (The Strait is 21 miles wide at its narrowest but evidently the shipping lanes are only about 2 miles wide.)
Noah has supreme belief in what Trump says. The other three expressed uncertainty about Iran’s current situation, which corresponds to what most are saying.
More Israeli false flag ops incoming? Think about it. Is Iran really capable of terrorizing us on US soil?! Doubt it. Avoid crowded places….

@goat transcripts typically are not novel length, well, except Brad's.
I just started Revolutionary Summer today, I will finish it on the cruise I am on. Non-fiction, sci fi, fantasy are doable. It just appears classic novels ain't for me.
Anyone interested on 1776 because of the 250 the anniversary, Revolutionary Summer after 50 pages appears darn good.
