Hard for me to take the Huffington Post seriously
Hooky might be a closet freak with these pop-ups.
Anyone who paid attention to my posts on the old AOTF knows I'm Pro Nipple and Pro Camel Toe. Those two shopping suggestions are counter to every fiber of my being.
Hope is not optimism, which expects things to turn out well, but something rooted in the conviction that there is good worth working for. - Seamus Heaney, Irish poet and likely Hoosier basketball fan.

You're gonna get out in front of your skis again and have hurt feelings.

I am assuming that with the offensive ships of the Iranian Navy mostly sunk, we can handle minesweeping and keep theStrait open?
Our drones, choppers, sweepers, jets can handle this? Especially with local Gulf nations now pissed at the Crazy Iranian Armageddon Lovers?
Trump dipped his toe into the wading pool with Venezuela. Then he decided to sky dive into the middle of the Pacific Ocean with his Iran conquest. This is a true test of his bravado. Masks down.
He’s threatening Iran with unimaginable damage as if he has unlimited resources which we don’t. He’s magnanimously promising China and all others safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz, even offering insurance guarantees Congress hasn’t funded. He’s assuring Americans that this “excursion“ will be short and economically bearable.
Meanwhile, Iran is a huge country with geologically diverse terrain and no good entry point for any sort of ground invasion so Trump is realistically limited to aerial attacks without going full-on Vietnam.
So…let’s sit back and watch. Of course, as always, we root for the United States. But this time, Trump’s legacy is really on the line. There will be no spinning the outcome for better or for worse.
I love the optimism about not being able to spin the outcome but that is incredibly naive given trump supporters and their history of believing anything that Trump says. Trump could say "Santa Claus started the war" and his MAGA supporters would argue til they are blue in their face that it was all Santa's fault and that Mr. Kringle is a crazy liberal.
No doubt DJ Taco will spin it and his sucklings will buy it but what matters is whether independence and the rest of the world buy it.Trump dipped his toe into the wading pool with Venezuela. Most the world doesn't appear to be favorable to DJT anyway so not sure the results of the war would move that needle. I wouldn't be shocked if this war is still going come midterms and one would presume it will hurt Republicans. But in that scenario, we won't know the outcome yet. Unless Trump tries to illegally run for a 3rd term, the outcome of the war will have little effect on him directly.

You obviously haven't been following X. I'd say at least 1/3 of the 3 times Trump voters now want him impeached.

Actually, Santa is probably even worse than that. He's an Elite Liberal.
He's got a great PR system run by mainstream media about him handing out entitlements to lower class individuals, all the while secretly running a sweat shop in a foreign non-developed country where workers toil away earning pennies on the dollar under a grueling 364 day schedule.
That's about as Elitist Liberal as you can get.

No offense, but...

We were paying nearly 5 bucks a gallon Q2 2022. It went from just over 2 bucks a gallon on election day 2020 to over 3 bucks a gallon by day 180 of the Biden administration, never dropping below that monthly average for the remainder of his term. It takes anywhere from 5-12 weeks from drilling to refined delivered product, depending on whether it's onshore or offshore. Fear and futures are responsible for the spike, and while of course it's gonna suck in the short term, I certainly won't go so far as to suggest that we are looking at 4-5 bucks a gallon in perpetuity.
