The problem for the Iranians is the economy and inflation isn't that bad. Core CPI came in at .2 this past month and the economy is hanging in there. - reopening of the Strait (which Trump caused to be closed in the first place)
- release of frozen funds (returned to iran) in the amount of $24 billion
- another $300 billion to Iran from the US and other countries for "reconstruction."
- Iran promises to never build a nuclear weapon.
Trump mocked Obama unmercifully for releasing $1.7 billion in funds to the Iranians. Now Trump's releasing many multiples of that, $24 billion, and contributing to a $300 billion pot. Hilarious.
And, the #1 reason he said for going in - - to ensure Iran never has a nuclear weapon - - is based on little more than a promise that they won't build one. Why isn't the enriched uranium in your little hands, Donny Boy?
