So should the concerns about the bond market be something for a working class hero to worry about?

I don't really understand much about what's being said, but it seems to me that someone who is heavy in bonds should be okay, all the macro shit notwithstanding. I have two accounts of roughly equal size. One is roughly 65/35 and the other is around 80/20.

@unclemark hard to say without knowing what you have. 'bonds' are a broad term. I don't really like bond funds, but if you have a lot of duration (longer term) in your bond portfolio, you'll probably keep taking some hits as the long bond rates keep creeping up. 

If you are in short to intermediate term bonds, wouldn't worry much about it.
