Employers added jobs in healthcare, retail, and leisure and hospitality in April. The unemployment rate was unchanged at 4.3%.

This is getting old. It's no longer clever or funny. Get some new material.

No. It's still funny and also true.  Shooter is consistently wrong on pretty much everything.  However, I don't drag him because of that.  I do it because he's the most disingenuous poster on here.  And for the record I let 90% of his posts be.

Not only that but if exactly the same thing had happened under Biden he'd be on here defending Biden.

Dumb. Dishonest. I was not a Biden defender and have often referred to him as perhaps the 2nd-worst president in US history. Wouldn't have ever voted for him unless he was running against far and away the worst president in US history.

Not a leftist shitlib either. Too much spending,  taxes. Balanced budgets, baby, where it's at...

A lot of things happen with the economy, good and bad, that are largely beyond a president's control.  But Trump, with his illegal tariffs and ill-advised war, is directly responsible for soaring prices on a shit-ton of products.

His tariffs and the war (which resulted in the closure of the Strait and the US's inability to quickly reopen it) are two of the biggest fuck-ups in modern presidential history.

@big-ryan as was biden with teh endless free cheese that overheated the economy and sent inflation skyrocketing.  biden competely destroyed the american dream.  he fckd the country.  for trump to witness that and then thing let's do tariffs is beyond stupid on trump's part.  i will give him the benefit of the doubt on nukes, tho i don't entirely believe it, but, but the tariffs were just terrible decision-making.  terrible timing.  negligence.

@big-ryan i'll teach you the reality of what he have here politically.  biden by way of his handlers the radical progressive left in association with bernie intended to get as much free cheese and cradle to grave benes out there as humanly possible.  the pandemic was nothing more than a pretense to allow them to expand social welfare.  they didn't care about what was good for the country.  what the current climate dictated.  only what was in keeping with their predetermined agenda.  likewise, trump has been talking about tariffs since the 80s.   it's a personal pet peeve of his that is approaching an obsession.  he didn't give two shits about the current climate or what was best for the country.  he wanted his tariffs no matter what.   we have two disgusting parties.  those are the facts.

The tariffs aren't a big deal and don't cause inflation.  And, yes, I'd rather not have them if they aren't going to cut income taxes with them.
