My grandson loved it.

Is it animated or live action?

I liked it overall, it’s visually impressive.

I didn’t like that it was basically the same “X is doing its mating ritual then gets eaten/killed” scene over and over.

and my scientific nitpick is when something hatches and Morgan Freeman says “this is the first dinosaur.”  That’s not quite how speciation works, the changes aren’t punctuated like that.

I do a pretty good Morgan Freeman impression, but the wife isn't impressed.

I reckon it could be because I use that  voice to narrate our activities during sex.

Was the pace and content good enough for kids younger than that?

I have a similar problem rooted in watching Ken Burns's Civil War too many times as a kid.  I often subconsciously want to end sentences with "Elisha Hunt Rhodes."

According to my daughter, for the grandson (who is 6) it was more like a Jurassic Park at his level of development. It has enough visual effects to keep him interested and curious and alot of opportunity to learn a few things.

It’s been a while but “alot” has been posted A LOT lately. “Alot” is NOT a word, you’re looking for “a lot.” End of public service announcement.

I still don’t know how posters get “alot” past spellcheck.

If your little like dinos, the visuals are really well done.  They also do different reptiles from way back as well.

Dinos do eat one another, so if they get upset about that kind of thing, it might not be a good watch.

Alot of times they just ignore it. 🤣   Seriously, as long as I get a point across I don't worry about spelling.  I normally see spelling errors about the time I hit enter.

Yeah, Aloha needs to convince himself he’s SUPER smart by pointing this out, but don’t worry about some spelling errors, he can’t even do simple math…

Let’s keep it real, in comparison to you most people here are super smart. Hell, most people in any room you walk into are super smart in comparison. You were an unintelligent and inconsequential poster as Jet, and you’re not a bit different with your new handle.
