@shooter where does the 1.5 billion figure come from?
Center for Strategic and International Studies.
$11.3 Billion for the first 6 days, then spending chugged along at >1B/ day, then spending increased with the massive deployment of troops now underway.
Some trackers estimate the cost around $51 billion by mid-April. Other estimates that include economic damage and fuel price impacts, suggest a higher, faster accumulation of costs, as high as $95 billion for a two-month engagement. The White House is reportedly seeking a supplemental funding package of over $200 billion to sustain operations.
I certainly want Iran to lose the war and want no American casualties, but I possess a sense of humor that allows me to laugh at videos poking fun at our Felon-In-Chief / Cheeto Christ.

"You can't make someone listen to reason if they aren't willing to think"-- Ray Bradbury, Fahrenheit 451
If there was any doubt who American leftists want to win this war, it’s gone now.
Serious question for you or any Trump supporter.
Please name for me one thing, just ONE THING, that Trump has done with respect to affordability that has delivered an improvement over the situation as it existed one year ago. Or relative to the situation as it existed 15 months ago.
Prices of everything were going to come down, he said. Inflation would be non-existent. Happy days were going to be here again, with no more forever wars!
How is all that going?

I’m not a Trump supporter but I am an aficionado of unhealthy fast food.
McDonald’s McCripy Chicken Meals (medium fries and Diet Coke so it’s healthy) in Chicagoland area are about 30% cheaper and the all-important Popeyes Two Piece Meal Economic Indicator is down about 16% from Biden-era highs.
