I mean, we aren't the party that voted in the primary for a guy who was involved in harassment that led to a woman's suicide, refused to ask him to step down, he finished first in the primary, and is still in the House even though now a second woman has come forward. There ain't no clean hands, and that in and of itself is very sad.

I keep waiting for all the Dems to post their support for Swalwell and to downplay the accusations.

I believe Gonzalez dropped out several weeks ago, and Trump hadn't endorsed anyone until after he did.
Dems are urging him to drop out of the gubernatorial race because it helps their chances of winning. If they really gave a shit about any of this they’d be asking him to leave his congressional seat, which they are not.

Seems like you’re really straining to try and paint this as a gotcha. Republicans forced Gonzales out, Swalell looks like he’s done as well. Good for both sides in this case.
Comparing a jungle primary to a partisan primary is a fools errand.
