So I was chatting with Gemini tonight just for fun, trying to figure out what AI thought about this obnoxious OSU fan we have posting here, and a couple of strange things happened. Even though I was in a brand new thread, and Gemini had told me that each thread was compartmentalized, it did not take long for the AI to start referring to me as Goat or to make references to Bleak House. I asked about this, and it gave some vague explanation about meta-analysis and how it only accesses our previous interactions when absolutely necessary, but I'm not sure how an AI decides how necessary something is. Long story short, I'm worried now that AI definitely has long-term memory.

Edited to add that what I've seen reported isn't a kill switch. It won't let you put the vehicle in gear if it thinks you're impaired. Complet and total bullshit though, because now every vehicle has the means to become controlled by someone other than the owner.
