Years ago, one of our high school interns asked me about mock trial. Her high school didn’t have a team. I called the bar association and asked about how to enter. I was told any high school is eligible. I told our student if she can get a team together I’d coach it. A week or so later we were off to the races. One of the best things I did.
He runs a 7 min mile. That aint gonna work. Im pushing for robotics or speech and debate.@bradstevens there’s always cross country and track, they don’t have try outs. Farva was all conference and look how he turned out.

Just got back from the World Wiffle Ball Championship in Crown Point, Indiana. My son and three of his best friends entered.
They won 2 yesterday by one run to make it to the bracket play this morning. Then pulled the upset of the tournament against a bunch of 20 and 30 year olds and the #6 seed. They were by far the youngest kids left, and had half the teams watching the end of their big win where they came back in the last inning, down 8-2. One of our kids on the ride home said “We’re now famous in the world of wiffle ball.” So funny.
Fun time. About 50 teams and all great guys, most drinking, many taking a stupid game way too seriously.Next year, I’m getting a team of dads or a team of high school friends and doing it.
