"What kind of person would treat their daughter this way? This guy [Miller] is clearly a degenerate sociopath." - Sen. Tim Sheehy (R-Montana).
Max Miller is facing even more calls to resign: 'Degenerate sociopath' - cleveland.com
Dems have to hope he doesn't resign. It would be an easy pickup.

He's staying in and the GOP will be giving another seat to the Democrats by running a MAGA degenerate.
Rep. Max Miller, accused of abuse, will remain in reelection race as withdrawal deadline passes

MAGA is the least of this guy's problems.
I don't dick about any of this, but my knee jerk reaction after reading the DB article and hearing he's involved in a custody dispute with his ex who is making the charges, is to give him the benefit of the doubt.
I've seen a couple of dudes just get run over by their soon to be ex who just makes up a shit to "get even".

@hooky that’s what I thought at first but at least three other women allege he was physically abusive with them. One is Stephanie Grisham, a Press Secretary for Trump in his first term. His FIL, Senator Moreno, certainly believes Miller was abusive to his daughter. I know, father’s support daughters, but there’s some credibility to the allegations. The Miller’s marriage lasted two years and he left her 3 days after their kid was born, which is a dick move in my opinion.
@aloha-hoosier I guess if I cared, I'd do some more research. If it's multiple people outside of the ex and her dad, then I'm inclined not to give the benefit of the doubt.

@big-ryan the public will never agree on a definition of credible. Mainstream media can’t be trusted so who establishes credibility?

no where is misandry as strong as in the family court

It's appalling. I've experienced it. I assume you have; in fact, I assume the vast majority of guys who have gone through a contested divorce proceeding have experienced it. Even when it's over, you're still at the mercy of the system. On 2 separate occasions, I had LEO at my door, serving me with notice that I hadn't paid support. It was a giant pain in the ass and a huge time suck to have to go show them everything and get them to fix their mistake. Then you still have to deal with the notice that was sent to your employer.

One of my best friends, when he had his twins (they're both college age now), paid child support until they were 18, and the baby mama and him were together the entire time.
That's chess, not checkers.
@boogie my old college teammates and i are on a whatsapp chain. my one teammate has been divorced twice and on the kids' 18th birthday he sent us a screenshot of him blocking his ex lol. he blocked both exes upon the kids' turning 18
