After reading your post regarding Bowdie's Chophouse and St. Elmo, loaded up my Queen in my '00 FRC, and we met a couple of my buds at Bowdie's...
Great proto-modern decor..awesome wine list with a distinctive Napa selection, attentive service...although the first two single malt Scotch I asked for were out of stock.
Heavy on protein...everything very good...
When I frequented downtown Indy, I actually preferred Harry and Izzys..
Why don't you get back on here and just ignore the 2 or 3 douchbags who won't go away..

@qparker i got banned!! That sounds amazing. I will actually be at st Elmo’s or somewhere else this weekend. Cortez from the old board and the locals made reservations.
I will tell you with my ex we went out for big fancy meals once or twice a week. In the last now two plus years I could count on one hand the amount of nice dinners I’ve had out. So I’m excited. My diet has largely been everything rfk jr is railing about. M
by the way I ran into a distributor I know at the grocery store. He said wine and booze are dead. The younger set are teetotalers. So good on you for doing your part
The food is the feature...but the decor is pure automotive gange...huge glass walls with collectors cars racked three high..shares the building with a high end Euro motorcycle dealership and the RLL Racing complex.
Well worth seeing...you'll maybe pick up on the 'vibe' in Boone County...among the fastest growing areas in the US...
@qparker Yes!!! that's the place my buddies were talking about! it's pretty fancy right?

Harry and Izzy's (Northside) has exceptional takeout and service on takeout. Just sayin. I suggest the Penne Alfredo and an order of the meatballs if you really wanna hate yourself in the morning.
@bradstevens LOL dude i thought of you last night. had my daughter's parent teacher conferences. mom out of town woot woot. 7 teachers plus counselors etc. all in 7 minute conferences where you go from table to table. i treated it like speed dating. but zero hot chicks. was also alarming to hear that she's basically a more popular max fisher up there. not a great night lol.

sounds so fing good. my fat dvt gout stroke ridden partners and i used to go to this restaurant called villa farotto in chesterfield. solely for their great big meatball that they served alone. hell of a thing when one of em would announce "and today, we shall dine as kings" as all of us just sat around a table with our own meatball in front of us

7 minute conferences are preposterous.
@bradstevens for sure. But the teachers were great. And her counselor and asst principal were fantastic. Rearranged her schedule. Dumped Spanish 3. Very accommodating. Then I met with her and she just scowled. “I liked my schedule!!” Is what she bitched to me afterwards. But all I heard was “I saved Latin. What have you ever done”
@mcm666 Someone send that memo to Hoosier kids. I’m subbing at a sorority all next week. Hopefully they’ll be worn out from homecoming.
@larsiu I had lunch there today. Filet sliders and shrimp cocktail. And St Elmo’s coke. We were celebrating
what's the beer list like? I hate wine. After reading your post regarding Bowdie's Chophouse and St. Elmo, loaded up my Queen in my '00 FRC, and we met a couple of my buds at Bowdie's...
