Ha! I was thinking of this quote in response to criticisms of the board, that fits too:

Is that hyperbolic for someone running a message board or even posting on one? Sure. But the spirit of the quote works here: if you don't like the board, do something to make it better. Try.

Ha - yeah. There is a fine line between conversation starters and homework/prep work. I always had a love/hate relationship with the dating apps. I have some great stories from using them though.

All of those things you wrote should remain noteworthy things to scrutinize.  How many times have you started a post praising a liberal politician?  That's not going to ever be a common occurrence, from either side of the political aisle, on this board.  Trump says and does tons of insane stuff, on a regular basis.  I agree, it is exhausting.  But its also not out of line for people to want to keep commenting on it, and criticizing him about it.  The AOC's of the other side, also catch flack for the things they say and do, as they should.  But as bad as they can be, the sheer volume of crazy shit coming out of Trump's admin dwarfs any other singular politician... so... he's going to be criticized more.

Start a thread about the good things he's done.  I honestly do feel like the economy is potentially gaining a decent foothold.  I'm not sure he's specifically done a ton to help with that, but his presence, his rhetoric, him being viewed as more "pro business", has helped calm some people that were rightfully concerned with inflationary pressures.

Read the declaration of Independence—particularly the list of grievances.

Years ago when Buzz123 was in charge of the old cooler he was never bashful about calling out idiotic posts.  Of course we don’t have a forum cop like him, but that shouldn’t give those whose thinking can’t get past a 4 letter word a belief  that they are Thomas Jefferson with their repetitive nonsense.
