@unclemark and my spider senses say there’s not a zero percent chance she’s already been fired

When I was in HS, every one of my classmates who were in trouble with school, parents, law, whatever, had the same refrain.  "Eff this place. I'm moving to Florida."

@hooky when she gets back from vacation with her friends I’m going to sit down and talk to her about that job if she was fired. She probably has an employment suit: fraudulent misrepresentation etc.  I suspect they expected her to work actual hours. Be there at a certain time. Stay until a certain time. Get paid after the work was performed.  Actually perform the work. And that WAS NOT her expectations. Her damages are already well into the tens of dollars

@hooky As I understand it from her and her friend there maybe have been some misrepresentations around breaks as well. So we can revisit that.  Not right now. Don’t want to bring that energy to their vacation.  Obvi

Son just filled out his applications yesterday. I was so pissed.  “You said you finished them Sunday night?”  “ Dad, that was just filling in my name and address. Now I have to write answers to things.”

Political career in the making.

And here I thought I was unique with my use of tens of dollars in my everyday life.

@thehoosierhuddle

Could you create a jobs board/kid swap on here?   We can trade each others kids for the summer to intern with us at various jobs.

My dad put me to work at his business at 12yo. No intern bullshit, either. I think I got paid $1.35/hr.
