I was looking at RMNP webcams, and the mountains have no snow. I know Colorado gets some massive March storms, but are the alarm bells ringing out there? To see a barren Long's Peak and Estes showing 40s and 50s through the 19th has to be disconcerting.
I thought I'd heard that most of the Western ski resorts haven't received much snow this year. Problematic on many counts, most importantly drought and wildfire risk.
Pretty ugly so far. Persistent high pressure system over west and southwest U.S. is the problem.

My BIL in Salt Lake City says that the ski resorts there are having their worst year in decades. No natural snow and temps aren't getting low enough for them to make their own.
The midwest is having their worst winter in decades but the Western US is having one of their warmest.
It's a hoax. A Democrat hoax.
@unclemark climate change discriminates against the Mountain West in favor of the Midwest?
Interesting.
Was in Big Sky last week, snow was actually pretty good considering.
Park City next week, looks like some storms are coming in to blanket the mountain, should be a good trip.

Mind the narrative there, pilgrim.
