Hello Members,
I want to be as transparent as possible on what the whole vision and goal for Hoosier Huddle is.
As most of you know we had a quick turnaround after the learning about the Merger. The original Hoosier Huddle website was housed on square space and getting a forum on there just was not going to work, so I went with word press. Is it perfect? Not at all. Was the goal to be perfect? No.
We had about seven weeks to scramble and build some place for people to go while trying to survive as an independent and not miss a beat.
After seeing the questions and concerns (with a little advice from a poster) I wanted to be upfront with everyone.
The ultimate goal is to redo the website to be more user friendly and modern looking. However, that takes time. We will be on Wordpress through the basketball season (which is hopefully April) and then hopefully have a new layout by the time the 2026 football season starts (hopefully sooner).
However, I have seen your concerns and have purchased some upgrades (back to top button, gifs, pms etc.) that I need to figure out how to install.
So this is temporary, but I do love that you are all here. Hopefully I can make the experience more enjoyable for you. After all we work for you!

Now that you have revealed yourself to be willing to take a little advice from mcm666, let me encourage you to widen your horizons. It would behoove you to begin taking life advice from him as well, especially in the area of interpersonal relationships with the opposite sex.
He is there to mentor. Use him.

You're doing fine. Look at the roll call threads on the sports boards. We're all behind you and wouldn't be here otherwise. Don't let the grousing about the forum software and all that minor shit concern you.

@bulk-vh My wife was cracking up at the off-topic forum last night and may be addicted to it. She works in mental health, so it's a good laugh for her.
@unclemark I am always looking to improve. If we can realistically improve, we will.

@thehoosierhuddle Well, the most obvious answer is to name me the mod of OTF. At least it would take something off your plate as you give all of mcm666's advice its due consideration. 🤮
