Unless there’s more to the story that’s very screwed up.@
He got caught up in the travel ban, and FIFA doesn't try to interfere with national visa travel policy. It's shitty, but it's predictable.

This stupid World Cup ball you plug in only has four panels. So it won’t knuckle and drop and do all the fun stuff. What are we doing
Told you El Tri would impress in the group stage. That's what they do.
This Korea-Czech game is boring AF at the moment.
@goat 48 teams and 3 hosts lead to some odd matches and venues
Yeah, overall, I'm skeptical of the expansion. Seems like too much. I guess if a couple of African or Asian teams that wouldn't normally have a chance make a run, it might prove a success, but otherwise, it's just more practice for the usual suspects.
Of course Mamdani is a soccer fan!

Freddy is a great follow on X. Really enjoying his love of the U.S. Really shows how you can never understand a country until you go there and travel around. America is not what you see on TV. (I was in London a few weeks ago for the first time and it was the same way. Nothing like the caricature you see on TV or read about in the news.)
@goat tonight is the big night. First in the group. No excuses. Time to show.
I personally went to two national camps leading up to 94. At both camps I was at it was literally 99 percent college kids. A few guys playing rando lower divisions overseas but it was college players. That’s it. This team has a guy who played for Chelsea, Barcelona, Juventus, Dortmund, on and on. A real coach. I mean this group is like none we’ve ever seen.
who knows about chemistry. Tactics. Blah blah blah. But on paper this is different
