Thank you for reading Hoosier Huddle
@thehoosierhuddle hahahah I swear, I was just checking because the log in button doesn't go away. I was in no way making a statement. You are doing great Sammy !!
Morally Flexible. Kinda.
@joe_hoopsier I didn't take offense. I was looking for an excuse to use a Homer gif!
Thank you for reading Hoosier Huddle
Yes, I seem to be logged in. It just went by so fast I could not tell. All is OK.
I prefer if it shows if Im logged in. Most sites the login button changes to say logout, or at least an easy drop down offers the log out. Now I have to go to the account page. And if not logged in but in a forum thread, and I login, it takes me away from there to the front page.
I am not a fan of the floating first post always being at the top of the page of the thread Im viewing. Takes up screen space when Ive already read it, and imo makes it harder to navigate. I was thinking I read there was a setting where I can change that.
Working pretty good though. Looks nice.
Improvements have been well executed. Kudos to your web hacks.
Suggestions:
Again, in the forums, the navigation bar at the top needs to be copied to the bottom of the page.
On the front page, the moving story link images need to stop moving when you hover over them with your mouse. That should be a trivial setting.

You are just trying to get my "Back To Top" button removed.. That's cheap, man.
..
But I myself have had the same thought about copying that at the bottom.

I like the login / logout update. Works well, looks good. Thanks.
Not sure if showing logout hurts your forum *stickiness* to keep viewers around, but I like knowing Im logged in or out at a glance like I can now.

The arrows are a great solution. It was what I would have preferred, but the moving stuff seems to be all the rage.
We will be updating the site starting at 9pm ET tonight and that update should last about an hour. The site will still be up during that time, but some things may be funky as we change over to our new layout!
Sammy, I've held off on mentioning this thinking I might come around, but I just can't -- the font you're using on your articles is horrendous. It's jarring to me every time I open a page. I'm no web graphics expert, but everything I know about design and UI tells me this was a poor choice.
