- This will be the 33rd meeting in the Barn Burner Trophy game series between Indiana and Purdue, which is also part of Big Ten Basketball Rivalry Series presented by Venmo. Purdue owns the edge in the series, 18-14, but the Hoosiers have won the last nine trophy games.
- The Hoosiers got out to a hot start at No. 12/11 Ohio State but couldn't hang on in the end as it fell 81-67 on Thursday night in Columbus. Redshirt sophomore guard Lenée Beaumont had 20 points while senior guard Shay Ceizki had 19 points.
- Indiana has shot and connected on a high volume of 3-pointers in its last two games. They ahve combined for 23 total triples against Washington and Ohio State. In that span, Ciezki has hit 12 of the 23 3-pointers while freshman forward Maya Makalusky has added six. In the two game span, they are also shooting 57.5 percent from the arc.

They just aren't improving. What worries me, no one came here expecting to play for the last place team in the B10. We may have another exodus. Even if the recruits stay committed, that leaves us really young next year.
@arthur-dent You have paid more attention than me this year, but something seems very off. I know coach as well as Beau and Shay said last year there were locker room issues. I wonder if that is still happening. Big Z being injured is no help. You're right, this team (outside of shay) has not gotten better as the season has gone along.
