In the past we'd park in the Fee Lane/Kelley School lot and it was free, but now I'm reading that IU is charging there. Anyone know of any under the radar free spots where you won't get towed for IUFB games?
Worst case, we will park in the Poplar Lot (near sample gates) or the Henderson Lot (near the law school), but wanted to check here first and see if anyone had insight.
Thanks in advance

I parked in a lot on like fess and cottage grove. Said ems parking only but had about 10 other cars that didn’t have any passes.
im so cheap. I sold 14 passes and parked for free

12th/Woodlawn along the railroad tracks is another one. I'd guess it fills up but it's easy in and out if you can get a spot there.
This is my first year with season tickets and a parking pass. I gotta say thank goodness I bought the parking pass. Last year we went to the Washington game and paid $300 for parking which is more than a full season of parking (Forest Grass lot). These big games get soooo much for parking. If I had to pay over $100 (hell $50 for a grass spot with a significant walk I’d be pissed. Don’t get me wrong the grass is nice for a camping like experience. Last year though I brought my Paella grill pan and we were on the pavement near the stadium. Because it’s flat that’s the only way I could have done it. Also having the marching band march by us was way cool and added to the atmosphere. I hate to bitch because we’re tailgating at a ball game but yeah parking is kinda ridiculous. Oh by the way crowd control and getting in and out is not up to par.
@eppy99 There is just more demand than supply for parking. IU has tried to make it more difficult for people to hoard parking passes, but $50-100 for a pass is pretty on par with a good Big Ten team. IU can't control the secondary market.
With that said, there have been issues with the people IU hire to run parking on game days. I have heard that there are untrained people who don't know how to use scanners, don't know the logistics of things etc. I guess that's the risk of outsourcing things.
The overall layout for IU's parking is pretty darn good. While spots are limited, there is more parking around the stadium for the average fan than most. I haven't parked at Poplars, but I have heard good things about it from people who park there, get a bite and a beer on kirkwood and take the shuttle up.
