I know we scored 4 vs. Penn State, but it feels like outside of that result, our offense has taken a step back in the past few weeks.
Losing 1-0 to previously 3-4, 0-2 Michigan State was not on my bingo card. Sparty looked better than their record indicates, at least defensively. And once they scored, they were able to be very compact and we only created 1-2 good chances. Oof.
What the hell is happening? I go away for a minute and we’ve lost to games.
They usually start off the year slow and perform substantially better at season's end. Just the opposite this year, until recently. Not sure what that means, but we shall see soon enough. MSU seemed to bully us for most of the match and we couldn't get any shots off.
@hickorytree @eppy99 @gros-louis - slight delay but we got it written up here! Check it out and let me know what you think

Great write up as always. Perplexed by the results as of late. Sounds like there’s still some maturing to do. You don’t lose to this level of competition if you expect to be the best. Who is the vocal leader of this team?
@eppy99 Thanks Eppy! Appreciate the support and kind words.
In terms of vocal leader - I'm guessing here - it would have to be a mix between Grad Transfer Holden Brown (starting GK), Senior Jack Wagoner (starting mid), and Senior Palmer Ault (starting striker).
Holden and Palmer are new players this year - they transferred from previous schools - so Jack is the longest tenured Hoosier (been here his whole career). If I had to pick one player to be that leader based on the above, it would be Jack.
But again, I'm just guessing!

Maher seems pretty vocal
@gros-louis He does, I agree - but he is on the younger side. That doesn't disqualify him, though.
