My thoughts: The general consensus on Taylor is he is a top 40 player. At one point in his career Taylor was a surefire 1st round pick - now, his stock has dipped a bit but teams clearly still see his value. He has one of the best bats in the entire class, has an elite eye and discernment in the strike zone, and is a great dude as well. The data loves him and I am certain that whoever drafts him will love him too.
The draft is this weekend - July 13 and 14.

The Athletics ended up selecting Taylor 48th overall in the second round. I believe he'll do well and have a fine career.
