This team is not mentally tough and I would hate to try and coach in this era due to fragile egos, kids transferring at the drop of a hat. This is the kind of team you get when there is no continuity from one yr to the next, seniors teaching the underclassmen how to be a college player and understanding what coach is coaching. When Cig brought over the JMU 14, they were able to let the new guys to trust coach and fall in line. Do not have this with this team and will be interesting to see who jumps ship at end of year. Playing like they can’t wait for the end of the yr to get here
We are riding a Woodyesque collapse. Worse really.
Last year when West Virginia had a game they were expected to win, to be sure to get into the tourney, then they lost, and missed the tourney, I thought 'I've seen this ending before.' Their whining made me laugh a little, just win your game and you were in.
But now it makes me nervous, as if it's innate with this coaching. Although with our roster maybe we just don't have any go-to player.
Well, back to hopium. On to the next game.
