Eric Gordon signed with the 76ers for his 18th NBA season. Quite a career for this amazing Hoosier as he's scored at 15.3 ppg and made 37.2% of his 3-point shots. I imagine there might be a few on this board that remember when Eric flipped from Illinois to play for Kelvin Sampson.
Never forget the HS game he played in vs Michael Jordan’s son’s team. MJ was present as EJ went off for 43 points, 17 in the first quarter 😂

Total domination.
@dbmhoosier Man among boys. His NBA jump step ability at that age was just incredible
He's good, but he's not Tamar Bates.

OK “Trusted Member”…..😬
I like guys who barely played while at IU and then didn't get drafted instead of Big 10 Freshman of the Year guys who got drafted in the first round. Trust that member.

GOAT SHITPOSTER
@mohoosier My friend’s son played with Eric. That game was on ESPN. I got to sit behind the NC bench not far from MJ. It was pretty cool.
I remember arguing with a guy at my gym who was giving the old, he’s not ready to leave college he’ll be a flop in the NBA excuses.
You must not like going to the tourney and HS game tapes. Lot of losing while ol Rome was on the squad. Tamar went to a few tourneys and still in the NBA. Bout the same age as RomeHe's good, but he's not Tamar Bates.

Tamar is "still" in the NBA?
Keep talking your ridiculous shit. In 2 years at IU, Tamar didn't produce as many total points, rebounds or assists in either season as Romeo did, even if you take Romeo's 10 best games off the table.. Both of his IU seasons together still don't match Langford's single season totals in pts, assists or rebounds. He was halfway through his 3rd year before he finally matched Langford's freshmen point, rebound and assist totals. You're trying to make everyone believe that Bates was better at IU than Langford who was B1G Freshman of the year and a first round pick. Everyone with eyes or a little bit of basketball knowledge knows that ain't it.
Time will tell on the NBA career, but at this point we know what each have been in college. There's a reason one was drafted 14th overall after 1 year and the other went undrafted after 4 years.

@zeke4ahs Zeke that is very cool.
While I regarded God as a tyrant I thought my sin a trifle; But when I knew Him to be my Father, then I mourned that I could ever have kicked against Him. When I thought God was hard, I found it easy to sin; but when I found God so kind, so good, so overflowing with compassion, I smote upon my breast to think that I could ever have rebelled against One who loved me so, and sought my good.” C. H. Spurgeon
Gordon is amazing….and he has lasted this long because he can shoot!
@thenickeldimer I got to see him at Assembly Hall once as a player. It was the Wisconsin game where that blonde 7 footer hit the 3 for the win. It was also the first game where we learned about Coach Calvin Samscum's NCAA troubles.
