Just wonder if there is any risk in losing him with the lack of playing time. I get that you get what you earn but it's not like anyone is lighting it up on this team (except Wilkerson and maybe Tucker at times) and we are probably waiting in the parking lot of the hospital as opposed to being in the hospital on life support when it comes to the NCAA tournament.
I get that Bailey takes up space and matches up with the bigs but Bailey is not a even starting center for the top MAC teams from what we see. It's time to be looking to next year and building talent. God knows this year wasn't exactly a raging success for finding talent (sans Wilkerson).
We better leverage whatever cache a CFB football championship gets us, they aren't coming here for basketball prestige anymore and it's looking like we'd already better be thinking about the next coach (back of mind) right now.
Prob be playing for Tennessee next year.
I doubt he goes anywhere. Committing too Woodson and then recommitting to Coach Devries tells me IU is where he wants to be.
Wish we could see him play.
,
@openwheel since we are out of the tourney, I would like to see Sisley and Ristic play the remaining 3 games
@ge-off We're not out of the tourney. Win the last 2 regular season games, and we'll likely get in. OSU is probably a tough matchup for us, so beating them in Columbus, in a game they desperately need as well, probably wont happen. But if we beat Minny and OSU, the bubble isn't strong enough to definitely keep us out. If we win those games, and then win a BTT game, I'd go as far as to say we're a lock.
I know it doesn't feel likely, right now. But that mood will flip if we beat Minny Wednesday night. Hoosiers94 prediction about the OSU game determining a bid, will likely come to fruition.

It’s highly unlikely he’ll be able to duplicate the financial deal he has at IU by going somewhere else. As the team is likely to turn over a great deal next year, he may feel they’ll recruit over him. We’re a modestly talented rent-a-team that will likely turn over two-thirds of the roster before next season starts. Whether IU wants Sisley or Sisley wants IU, given that roster near-certainty, will be interesting to see.
If Sisley stays, that shows us at least one guy truly cares about the name on the front of the jersey. IU could certainly use guys like that.
@gros-louis I get it, the point is that we are dead and I'd rather see minutes invested than wasted. I don't need to see any more of some of these seniors who had their chance.
IU is not making the tournament- lost 4 straight and will not win at OSU- not even sure of a win vs Minny.@ge-off We're not out of the tourney. well, given that the majority of the people that do brackets in bracket matrix still have us in the field, just barely, means that just because random message board poster thinks we’re dead doesn’t necessarily mean we’re dead. so if I’m the coach, I may as well go ahead and at least try to win the games and then let the chips fall where they may@gros-louis I get it, the point is that we are dead and I'd rather see minutes invested than wasted. Mathematically Alive. Reality done for... no chance we make it in ... zero

Can maybe beat Minnesota but I highly doubt we wil at Ohio State. One win max in the btt so likely finish 2-2 imo.
42 of 105 isn't majority.given that the majority of the people that do brackets in bracket matrix still have us in
Math doesn't lie.
