Wed have to be 25-7 right now to ensure ending up with single digit losses.

Good call, so let me clarify: I was referring to regular season only.

OK, then I agree that three straight of 23-9 would be above average of the league, but not special. Not 'back', unless we put together a final four in there at least. That would probably be one or two losses OoC, and 12-8 or 13-7 big. OK for next year, not the future. We need to contend.

Contending is more like 15-5 . Then throw in some winning the league years. Not sure if our coach can get there or not. I am feeling that IU will be more serious about getting players. Nothing to go on other than I like who we got as GM . And I just feel with Dolson's ass in a sling if his hire fails, he will work hard on financing.

Are you referring to National Champion in football Athletic Director Scott Dolson?

In a sling.  That's hilarious.

I knew someone would claim this again. And while true, it only covers so much.

If basketball doesn't rebound, they'll work around Scott, and/or he will still feel the heat when he asks for yet another buyout. (Scott: "HAHA whaddaya going to do? I hired Cignetti, and he loves me!") Even while he is still in a position that satisfies Cignetti.

Scott's JOB is running athletics, so yeah, his ass is in the sling, this is his hire. He will absolutely bend over backwards to make it work.

He's going to do that anyway.  But if this hire doesn't work out, Scott's not going anywhere.

Yeah, my ass in a sling is too strong for 'will look bad if this fails'. So you're right, he won't be getting sidelined or anything.
