Don't want to be a Debbie downer, I too am impressed with our shooting last night, but how many times have we seen a team fill up the nets in an easy exhibition game only to struggle the rest of the season with 3pt. shooting. I do believe we will be a good shooting team, even when the defensive pressure picks up.
Last year we were 6 of 25 from three vs. Marian. I agree you've got to discount the results vs. Marian to some extent, but this was some legit three point shooting.
Same grade different teacher. We got a steady diet of "e-nun-ci-ate". She never did accept the fact that we spoke cornfield and wasn't likely to change...
C'mon man.

@iugradman Yeah, 15-30 is pretty exceptional shooting, and I don't think we ever saw a night like that with a MW coached team, in exhibition or regular season play.
@tammany I like how the guys on Assembly Call put it: "Don't evaluate these types of games based on statistics or results, but habits..." or something to that effect. Sounds like this team will share the ball, will take open 3s, will block out, and will get in to people and defend on the perimeter and contest passes and the dribble. That should yield a much more enjoyable brand of ball and one that will be far easier to cheer on.
If you haven't seen it, the Pat Knight post game interview was pretty good, and he had the line of the night, if not the season, regarding Tucker DeVries: "They finally have a coaches' kid who's worth a shit!"

That was for your benefit and you did not disappoint...
