Supposedly Burton left Houston without a commitment, so that’s good.
Rumors are we go 3 for 3 ? We will see would be a great start then add Sherrill!
I hope so. We've got buckets of money from Football. I know that's not NIL but in this era is there any difference? Accounting can be done later. Lets put a good team together for once in 20 years.

There’s definitely a difference and it’s not just accounting.
Dedan Thomas, the former LSU point guard committed to Houston this Saturday afternoon.Supposedly Burton left Houston without a commitment, so that’s good.
Indiana is very close to locking up Markus Burton. That's a massive addition, once it happens. He should be Indiana's best and most exciting point guard since Yogi Ferrell. If you can't get excited about Burton, nothing from the portal was going to be pleasing. Mustaf should happen anytime now and he's a solid addition. Darren Harris on his visit right now. All three of those guys have two years left and that is a positive.
The big news from this afternoon...per the fantastic Jeff Rabjohns of peegs.com, Aiden Sherrell is visiting Indiana. That visit could happen as soon as Sunday. If the Hoosiers can secure Sherrell, he could form an awesome one-two punch with Burton.
Now, Sherrell wants to play the 4 and that means IU would still need at least one center. Rabjohns mentioned Bryson Tiller of Kansas and Eric Reibe of UConn (both freshmen this past season) as potential options. We'll see where that goes. Exciting time right now, in my opinion.
@tjinman1987 That's some great news. By the early part of next week the optimism level on this board should be lifted quite higher.
After last year, Im good with underwhelming. Just dont be a wth? roster.
and that's the problem with IU basketball. ... you're ok with underwhelming. wtf
@hoosiers94 Sure. I have an effect on our roster.
Im not expecting underwhelming. Thats your take.
So it was a joke on how shit we were. I dont need to be overwhelmed in the spring, lol, the coaches pick em.

Is he a dribble/drive, make his own shit and get to the basket kind of guy? I hope so. Something IU was missing this year.

He can score at all three levels - 3, mid range, ATR - but not elite or exceptional in any one area. Same with facilitation and defense, effective but not elite.
@openwheel - Underwhelming when compared to last seasons team.
athletically, it’s the exact opposite of last year.
Just assuming, pay the bucks for 5 portal guys: Burton, Harris, Mustaf, Sherrell, & Tiller.
Sisley & Acimovic plus the 3 frosh -- Alexander-Moody, Manhertz & Karvala.
Bring back the 3 walk-ons from last year and call that your 13.
Could this work? I'll let the coaching staff figure that out.
The major downside bench depth and experience. The starting line-up would probably need to play 160 of the 200 total game minutes.
IU resembling the '89 Pistons yet?
Efff skill. I want Laimbeer, Mahorn, Rodman, and Salley as my front line with a little razzle dazzle from Zeke and the Microwave mixed in. And some Dumars to steady the ship.
