@mushroomgod Take the end of the season top 25, fill in with conference champions who aren't top 25 teams, until you get to 32. That would be a fun tournament to watch.

I'd go for that.  Would get rid of some of the riff raff tourney champs.

Not as talented as Bigfoots teams but better coached.  This team is also much more sporadic.  We have no size and shoot tons of 3s.  It's a win big or lose big strategy.

Well, it's a lead big, or lose big strategy at least.

14.5 points per game ... on average.  That seems like a lot?

We are lights years from being able to compete with the top five or six teams in the big ten. Sure we can get an occasional win at home but on the road forget it.  Going to have to bring in five brand new legit starters if there is any hope of finishing top five next year.

2-3 of which need to be NBA type talent .. unmistakable NBA talent , not hopefuls

Fortunately we lose 5 (correction 6) seniors so we'll have room on the roster.

At least three of them imo. Dorn may of had a few good games for the most part he is a non factor and should not be  starter next year.  This portal class is going to need to be top notch is we expect to not be  a middle of the pack big ten team.

In 2009 I watched Tom Pritchard posting up wide open while the IU guards (and seemingly Tom Crean) were oblivious to the idea of interior passing.

I thought to myself, "let's give him a couple years and see if it improves".

Well, it did not, but what did improve was the caliber of players he recruited.

DeVries has no excuse (at his pay grade) for the lack of rebounding effort in some games, however, if he recognizes the problem, he can fix it with guys who are already good rebounder.

So again, I cautiously say- "give him a couple years"
