NBA Summer League

I was on ESPN.com today, scanning the NBA Summer League rosters.
Kel'el is playing for the Heat, Romeo for Philly, Miller K for OKC.
I did not see Hood-Schifino listed anywhere, but thought he might be playing this summer. Anyone here know his status?
I understand he's had back surgery… hoping he’s recovering and able to find a roster spot somewhere.

YIKES - just realized the ESPN page I was reading said "2024 rosters".  Damn, my bad.  The summer league is officially underway (as of last night).  Will look for more updated info.

JHS is back with the 6ers.

This is the star player to track.  TBD if the Nuggets bother to upload his picture.

@red-x That is easy to do my friend.

While I regarded God as a tyrant I thought my sin a trifle; But when I knew Him to be my Father, then I mourned that I could ever have kicked against Him. When I thought God was hard, I found it easy to sin; but when I found God so kind, so good, so overflowing with compassion, I smote upon my breast to think that I could ever have rebelled against One who loved me so, and sought my good.” C. H. Spurgeon

Bates and the Denver Nuggets will begin play Thursday with an 8:30 p.m. matchup with the Milwaukee Bucks on ESPN+.

Game 2 will be July 12 (next Saturday) vs. the Minnesota Timberwolves at 9 p.m. on ESPN+.

Game 3 will be July 15 against the Toronto Raptors at 7 p.m. on ESPN+.

Bates and the Nuggets will then take on the L.A. Clippers at 10 p.m. July 17 on ESPN2 for the final game of the regular season.

Maybe we'll get to see one of his "take off at half court and then try to figure out what to do with the ball" moves.  I wish I could find video of it.  That was one of the dumbest things I've ever seen a player do at any level.  I was in utter disbelief.

JHS is playing summer league for the sixers but is a UFA still.  So he playing for a contract from any team. Mavs need to clear out some bottom of the roster trash and get him.  They need to get some young backcourt players.  Nembhard's little bro and JHS would be nice to have and develop for the future.

Today is Flagg Day for us Mav fans. Meanwhile those Laker idiots and TV outlets are hyping up Bronny vs Flagg.  Vegas is like Lakerland East.  There was huge hype in the summer league when D-Lo played and even bigger hype in the summer league when Kuzma and Lonzo played.

Laker fans should boo Bronny to the max because his dad is holding the lakers hostage from rebuilding around Luka.   That should make Lebron feel good.

@sig Flagg v Bronny is some classic ESPN garbage.  They’re not remotely comparable players, but ESPN sees a ratings opportunity…

Brutal.  Happened to me in 6th grade when a teammate opened the game by getting the ball off the tip and driving past another teammate for the layup.

@tammany

I was vacation so didn't get to watch as much as usual but I think Bronny from what I seen is a legit NBA player who will eventually be in a rotation.  He can defend and has a nice 3 point shot.  He was much better than last year and his dad has a million dollar plus gym and trainers in their home.
